Stop Motion Photography
GROUP360 Visual Communications utilizes an in-house, all-digital photography studio for its packaging and
visual merchandising needs. The use of this closed-loop environment embedded in a prepress facility creates
exceptional photographic images pre-selected for use in production. Working in-house also allows the studio
to focus on creating new and exciting ways to enhance product images on store shelves and in advertisements.
Stop Motion Photography - it exists, but GROUP360 perfected a look and a feel to the process unmatched by
our competitors to meet a client need for cereal packaging. Our photographer assembled components and tested
results over several months to manufacture an entirely new photographic process that takes multiple stop motion
shots in nanosecond increments.
The result was a splash of milk, caught in mid-air, frozen in time, and selected for the most pleasing picture
from light and shadows to the spray pattern. There is no other process that captures multiple images and gives
the photographer several choices on one photo shoot. Traditional stop motion photography requires multiple
set-ups and shots, with expensive equipment, extended time periods and no guaranteed results.
The process we created can stop a bullet in its tracks, and let you pick the best angle.
This level of expertise comes from shooting in an all-digital studio for over 10 years. Our studio understands
the expectations of the prepress, knows color targets, profiles, anchor points, contrast and balancing. We're
fond of saying that our creative teams are artists. Consider what their skills might bring to your next
promotional campaign.
